Stock Head; rear spkrs unleash unused power?
Simply put:
MY2002
If I add rear speakers ONLY (no amp;etc) to the stock head unit, are they powered by "unused rear amp-iage" or do they actually take away power from the tweeter/door spkrs?
In other words, is there reserve power just waiting for rear speakers to be hooked up?

Yes, its unused power. The radio is rated at 30x4 channels peak. The front channels are only used - 2 channels power the woofers and tweeters.
