Stereo upgrade?
Guys...
I'm seriously considering upgrading my stock HU on MY03. I figure I would start with HU first since I want MP3 capability. I want nice unit that under $500. Oh, I also want to use the dash controls as well. (Lucid?)
Any recommendation on brand? Alpine, Sony, Kenwood?
Thanks in advance.
Rare
PS. Advice on speakers are welcome.

Whatever ever you go with, PM DJ Qube if you want to retain the use of the stock audio control module with advanced function.

Lucid,
Do you recommend a Sony HU because it has a wired remote and allows you to have full function of remote controls with the DCI..... or Alpine for example with Multi-radio dash control interface?
I just want a MP3 HU that has more power to run your rear speakers, and that I could continue to use with my 300 watt Blaupunkt amp that power my door Infinity's.
If a Sony is just as good, then I assume not having to use an IR eyeball would be a better solution?

You've been here for a week and a half and when two members get confused by something you said, you automatically assume *we're* the ones who have no idea what we're talking about?
Well damn, if car audio is so second nature to you that you can explain it in such condescending terms, I guess you don't really need anyone's help.
