Thumbs up Stealthbox Amp?

I was wondering if this amp is good enough for the stealthbox (Alpine MRP-M350). I'm confused about the 3ohm setup of the box. This amp runs 350 x 1 RMS in 2ohm. Is it OK if you are running the amp under the ohm rating of the box which is 3, so I can run 2 or 1? 4 would not work.

I'm looking for a good amp to run this box.

What's everyone else running for their stealthboxes?

The amp will always operate at the load of the speakers. So if the Stealthbox has a 3ohm speaker, then the amp will also be running at 3 ohms. Figure it will be putting out about 250 watts. The Stealthbox is rated at around 300 so I would assume you would be fine in that respect.

As for the quality of the amp, I have no experience with their lower line, but that is damn cheap for a mono amp. If you are spending all that money on the Stealthbox, you may want to budget more for your amp. That or get your own box made and then you have full control over your setup.

I will give this a bump since I might be picking one up soon.

Anyone bridge their amp to a 3ohm load? I am getting the box cheap enough that I will probably just replace the sub with a 10" 4-Ohm Eclipse to make my life easier, but in the mean time...
