Thanks for the help!
HPF? That would stand for High Pass Filter. If that's what it was, the radio was reducing bass below a certain frequency. This can be desirable to an extent because when the bass is reduced, you can turn the speakers up louder before they start to distort badly. But if it's overly aggressive, the music sounds empty since all the bass is gone.

I took the car to the dealer to get it checked for something today and a tech asked to check my battery. He said it is due to replacement 454 CCA/625 CCA. I asked if it has to do with the amp in the back, and he told me the amp is probably drawing the power from the battery cause I don't have some sort of filter system for the amp. What filter thing is he talking about, and should disconnect my amp since it may be draining my battery?
No idea what he's talking about. No idea if he does either. CCA is a common rating system for batteries. It sounds like he just wants to sell you a new one.

Is your amp turning off when the car is off? It should be. And how much power does it produce in watts RMS, or what is the make and model of the amp? Some drain a fair bit of power, but you should be fine.

Assuming it is and your car doesn't have any trouble starting, I wouldn't bother with any it for now. The battery will die sometime down the road, just like everything else.

I'm not sure the power in watts RMS, but the make is Infinity. I'll check the model when I get the chance. I think it does turn off when the car is off. I guess I don't have to worry about it now =). Thanks for the response.
