Speaker Suggestions for my Radio? Keeping it Simple
Hey S2KI, I know you probably get this question a lot but I don't know much at all about car audio but my goals are pretty easy/straightforward so I'm pretty sure someone here could help me out a lot.
I just installed a Kenwood KDC-BT555U radio, and am still using factory speakers (which are starting to die). I don't want to use an external amplifier (I think this radio has a 50W amp built in?) and I don't want to try mounting a sub anywhere.
Basically what I'm looking for is to get the most out of using ONLY aftermarket 6.5" component speakers. The best sound quality/bass/whateverthehell I can get out of just door speakers lol.
Let me know if anyone has any suggestion on some good component speakers that would fit with no issue (I believe mounting depth has to be less than 35mm?) My budget is probably around ~$150 overall for both speakers.
Thanks guys!

My friend is recommending "Infinity" brand speakers. I found these which look pretty awesome, but I'm not entirely sure if the depth will fit (I think they would?)

Here's a relevant prior thread. You may want to check with the original poster and see if they have any updates.
If a mod sees this and wants to lock the thread, feel free Thanks man!

22 watts rms (which is the important number) just like any other deck. Check to see the rms of the aftermarket speaker your looking at can handle and this will give you an idea how much more power you can supple them with
