Sound system = better car battery?
Since Im having an Alpine CD deck, 750 watt Alpine sub and 1000 Alpine amp installed this week, would I need to buy a better/stronger car battery or even maybe one of those Hyper Voltage ground wire systems? Or shouldn't matter?

As long as you aren't absolutely hammering the hell out of it, you'll do just fine.
Besides, the weak spot is really the alternator. Charging voltage is 13.5v-ish, a battery only runs at 12. If you're dipping below 12v, you're seriously overloading the alternator.
Having a larger / higher capacity battery will only allow you to run the stereo longer with the car off.

should be fine... i wouldn't touch a cap (more on that in the FAQ), but if you kill your OEM battery - you might want to consider an upgrade. if the OEM survives, you're good to go.

I would definately wait until your battery dies before replacing it. I used to compete in SQ with quite a bit of power and I just ran a Batcap instead of upgrading the battery and putting a cap, the things kick a**.
For starters go buy some 4ga wire and use it to replace the ground and power wires on your alternator and battery connetions. It will help tremendously. The HyperGround kits are pretty different and the wiring isn't really big enough to help in your case. How much power are you running RMS to the sub? I know you said 1000 but if that's peak and you're only running 500W, you should be fine. At 1000 Watts you should definately upgrade your charging system somewhat.
