Im gettin a Compustar remote starter put in soon and Im debating whether or not to get the alarm also. One guy I talke to said do it the other said its pointless because without the key with the chip you cant steal the car. Give me your opinions on why I should get an alarm

The immobilizer doesn't stop them from putting your car quietly on a flatbed and driving it away. If they really want your car they'll take it. An alarm will force them to do it quicker before you get paged and realize someone's messing with it.
