S2K 2006 Draiver Airbag on 2005
Does anybody knows if its possible to use the 06 S2K driver side airbag on a 05. I have the 06 airbag but it has 4 wires while the 05 only has 2 wires. Will it work if I cut those wires and solder them to the 05 plugs. I have the pigtails from my old bags.

Given that fact that this is a serious safety item, I honestly would call the dealer or a good body shop (one recommended by the dealer) and ask them... I would think they will tell you a very direct 'NO'.
Personally I wouldn't do it either. Sell the wrong one, buy the right one and hook it up correctly. My .02.

It has 4 wires because it has dual-stage systems for low impacts and high impacts sensitivity.
If you piggy tail the wires, it may become sensitive.
Who know if you run a pot hole, the airbag may explode :-)

DO NOT....absolutely DO NOT cut or modify airbag wiring in any way shape or form. Unless you are removing the airbags all the way for a TRACK ONLY vehicle and you know what you are doing.
Air bag systems run self tests and use the resistance of the circuit to determine if a component is operating correctly. Altering this circuit could cost you alot .....(ie....YOUR LIFE OR SOMEONE ELSES!!!)
Not worth it!!!
Hate to be that guy but this is not something to mess with.
