S2000 OEM stereo in a Subaru?
How difficult is it to install our factory stereo in another car, specifically a 00-05 Outback Sport? Do the harnesses match up or is there some wiring to be done?

you'll need an adapter harness that plugs into the radio like this one, and an
adapter harness that plugs into the car like this one. Then you splice the
appropriate wires on each harness together. This assumes that the Subaru takes
a headunit that's the same size, and that you have the appropriate mounting
hardware, which you can likely scavenge from the original headunit.

That's what I figured. Out of curiosity, does anyone make ready-made harness adapters? If not, seems like there might be a small market there.
Reason for doing this would be because the Subaru's headunit does not function and the Honda's headunit is readily available.

just connect this harness to a aftermarket legacy harness then connect the legacy harness to the car harness and your good to go...pretty simple and straight forward if you know how to install a headunit
