I'm assuming they used a Cleveland motor vs. the Windsor for the build-up. Very nice!

Yeah it is the Cleveland, the truck was originally a drag truck, it kicks arse.

stupid question but need to know Im installing a stereo in my 00.And from what I can tell is that almost every body runs their power from their batt to the driver side through the firewall then to the pass side then back to the spare tirewell.Isnt there an easier way?
thanks!!

I've been installing my system this week. I did not like the idea of running the wire across the engine bay, across the firewall and then across the car to the passenger side.

I wanted to keep my run as short as possible to mitigate loss due to the length of the cable as well as weight. I'm using 2ga. primary wire and it's heavy.

It is quite easy to run your wire in a more direct route from the battery through a large grommet that is behind and below the battery on the firewall.

First, remove the battery from the car. You will need to carefully perforate the grommet next to where the wires come through. You can do this with some scissors. Nip at the grommet little by little so you will not cut anything other than the rubber in the grommet. When viewed from the engine bay, you will make your cut in the grommet to the right of where the wire loom comes through.

It helps if you have a lamp in the passenger foot well. This will allow you to see the light shine through on the engine bay side and will illuminate the wires so you can stay away from them.

Apply some grease to the jacket on the wire and then just push it through the hole in the grommet until it comes out the other side. This will keep you from dislocating the grommet as you push the wire through.

It's cake.

Yeah if you run it across the engine bay like I did you'll notice I ran the power down the drivers side of the car not the passangers side. I ran all the power wire down the drivers side and all the RCA's and speaker wires down the passenger side. I did this to keep them as far apart as possible.

Finally did it guys cut the dash in a major way.

Not quite complete yet I still need to make the carbon fiber trim plate.
The processors made the system sound 400% better. Boston GT-50, Boston Z6 Carbonfiber compoents, custom Sub enclouser 6 x 6.5inch subs (slot port), Alpine head unit and Alpine Pro Bass shakers one under each seat.
Sound staging is amazing; the vocals have more realism and the base has more depth and punch.

Still need to make the speaker rings to hid the mounting screws on the sub enclouser (hardtop only)
