S200 JDM Navigation System
I posted this in the Australia section but did not get any good information.
Moderator can delete this if you think I break any rules but there are a lot more electronic wiz here.
The JDM nav system does not fucntion well outside japan for someone who can't read Japanese. It seems like it still work in Australia but all in Japanese. The unit is extremely nice with touchscreen display, DVD player and 2 memory cards reader in the boot.
Is there anything that can make this unit work outside Japan?

it's just a theory.
don't quote me on this but i think the main issue is with the nav dvd. it's contains the "maps" but they might have only manufactured maps only for japan. if they manufactured for australia there might be a possiblity of it working...not to mention you're gonna have to learn japanese then.
