Removing the Convertable Top
I'm thinking about removing the convertable top to do some audio installs. Is there a lot of work that goes into that? How difficult is it? Do I need special tools? Sorry for all the questions, but I just want to know what I'm about to get into. Thanks

It is not easy at all. I ripped mine easily.
I'd highly suggest buying a Honda manual.
Honda Manual
It shows you how everything comes apart.
Read this section on the manual 5 times before you start.
You'll need to remove the frame on the inside of the convertible as well as some exterior parts. It is a lot of screws and bolts and you're bound to miss some.
Be very patient (and make sure the person helping you is too) when removing, as one pull while there is still something securing the convertible will rip it.
Pull carefully near the base of the convertible all around when you think you've got everything removed. If you pull elsewhere, you may have too much mechanical advantage and may rip the top.
The top is especially fragile right behind the doors.
Also, the frame you take apart is difficult to put back together in the correct order (parts look very similar), so either label the parts or arrange them accordingly when removing.
Good luck.
