At the risk of extreme ignorance, what's the difference between a 2001 flap and a 2004 flap?

not ignorant at all, i think all years there's some small changes.
Am pretty sure that 01 door were black? And i have an 04 its silver.

Just curious, when you change out the door is it just the door or is it the whole holder piece, vents and all?

Just the door. You can even buy the door from your dealer or HTguy.

Hmm... I really don't want the door... I like the black (black and yellow goes really well so why mess w/ a good thing...).

I'm actually wanting to cut up that trim piece... I imagine I could get an extra one from the dealership if I mess it up no? Anybody know about how much it would be... I hate cutting factory parts, but it helps to know if a replacement is easy/cheap to get ahold of...

Ok, think I found it... looks like about $30... Guess I'll hope I don't f' it up, but now I know that I can replace it if I do. Thanks.
