Relay Question
I need help finding a relay that can work with a 24 volt system. I need the relay to be open with power to it and close when power is removed. When it is closed with no power I need it to send 24 volt power that is then stepped down to 12 volts. If anyone can help please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Do you need to activate it with 24VDC, or just pass 24VDC?
Forgetting the activation for a second...
Your best bet would be to put your 24VDC source to it, then hook up your full voltage load to the NC side, then use a resistor and perhaps a diode on the NO side to step down the voltage. Or, if your amperage is very high, use the NO relay to fire a different relay that has a 12v source.
