Default Recommend a head unit w/ EQ but no dash control problems?

I'd love to get ahold of a new head unit that has a good 5 band EQ built into it that is fully compatible with the dash controls. If I have to get a new harness, cross-overs, I will.

Can anyone recommend one that will do this?

Oh, and if it's EQ can manage all eight speakers that'd be even better! ( Am I asking too much here?)

I just ordered the JVC KD-SH707. It has a 7 band EQ that is adjustable for each source .. but not each speaker. It also has front and rear preamp outs as well as a sub out that have adjustable level/xover frequency.

And it plays MP3s !

I'm pretty sure my Alpine 7969 and the 7878 I had before had at least 5 bands of EQ. Unfortunately I don't think the US versions support the KCE-865B dash control interface we can get here in Europe. A PAC SWI-X ought to let you use the dash controls with practically all head units with IR control support.
