Rear Speaker Issues
I am considering adding rear speakers to my S. I have heard good things about Lucid's solution. However, I am pretty tall for an S owner, 6'2", so I always have the seat pressed all the way back. I am assuming that this will really muffel the speakers. Any other tall S owners out there tried this? Also, any other good alternatives?

I have speaker grills installed with my rears. The grills give the speakers just enough room so that even if you put the seat right up against it, the sound still comes out fine. I'm not nearly as tall as you but I usually have the passenger seat all the way back and it doesn't hamper the sound at all.
ps. You may have posted this in the wrong forum. "Prairie" is referring to Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba in Canada. Perhaps a moderator can move this for you.
Oh! And welcome!

Hey, xviper,
That was the first flame I ever sent anyone, and probably the least worthwhile. IIRC, it was over whether we should assume our fellow owners are fine, upstanding people or not (after a year of reading this board, I tend to agree with your viewpoint now...there are some nuts out there).
A better disagreement was with regard to 'loving' a car. You made a good point on that one that I still mull over while playing solitaire occasionally.
