You should buy my takeout MY '05 HU for $300......lol.......such a deal.

Personally I went with the Alpine 9857........it just works well with the S2000. Dont forget the Modifry DCI which will add to the price.

OK. I just bought a Eclipse CD-8455. Is this going to make my factory speakers sound better? I don't want to go through the hassel of installing an amp, unless it will fit under seat. I need all my trunk space.

What speakers could I get with this HU if I'm want better than factory? Does adding rear speakers add to sound quality?

No, it is not going to make your factory speakers sound better.the factory speakers are crap.most people on this site seem to like the infinity speakers. and if you get a small enough amp you can put it in the little space left of the spare tire area.(thats what i did)they also sell custom subs for the tool well.Darknight has a groupbuy going for those.

actually changing out the factory hu, will make your stock speakers sound better, even though they are carppy. the hu is the weakest link of the system

I already bought the HU.

I wanted to know what speakers you guys would recommend without an amp. I'm thinking of Alpine type S or Polk MMC6500

without amp, check for speakers with higher "sensitivity" rating
