Default Quick Problem Troubleshoot!

I'm trying to do the 'lower/raise top mod while moving' and I opted not to cut the wire. I managed to pull the connector out of the socket thing. I also pryed off the white portion of the connector. I'm having trouble now pulling the actual PIN of the white/black wire out of the connector... Anyone have any tips?

Thanks!

I haven't done this mod before, but the connectors are all pretty much the same. You need to insert a straight pin/pick (a paperclip should work) into the front of the connector above/below the pin that you want to remove. Look there and you'll see a small pin retainer that you have to slightly move out of the way to extract the pin. Gently pull on the pin after you release the pin retainer. Don't pull too hard...

To install the pin back into the connector, just make sure it is oriented properly and slide it in. It should "click" into place.
