Default Quick Headunit help....

Alpine CDA-9807

Three Questions....

1. Will this work with Lucid's DCI Adapter
2. Is it a good head unit?
3. A friend of mine had a pioneer HU. I have a rockford. His HU used to take no joke 15-20 seconds to switch between MP3 tracks. I have never owened an alpine product....does this HU or alpine in general act slow when it comes to dealing with MP3's and WMA. Thanks a lot guys.

1. Yes, it uses the same remote as mine (CDA-7894).
2. No clue on this model. Mine was from the top of their line the year I bought it. This one seams to be their lowest MP3 deck.
3. Mine works great and switches faster then most I could have purchased at the time.

Thanks stratocaster.....

I have a headunit (rockford RFX-9300) which I love, however, i cannot live with no dash controls on the S2000. So i want to buy a new head unit. From what I read....the specs seem very good. Any other opinions on this headunit???

Thanks guys....

I have the 9813 and I love it. It probably has more flexibility than I really need though.

Alright guys....ive decided to go with this HU. It has a lot more features than my rockford and gives me more control over my sound. I got it for 229 which i think is pretty good and by its specs...i think it is everything I need. I am installing my system today (sat and sunday) and will post pics shortly after.
Thanks for all your help guys...really appreciate it.
