Question for Expirienced Dash Cutters
Hi Guys,
I've seen a few people successfully cut the dash to install a monitor for their viewing pleasure, I was just wondering,
would this double din unit from Kenwood be able to be mounted in a cut dash?
heres a link to that unit
its a -
KENWOOD DDX7015 IN-DASH DOUBLE DIN DVD/CD 7" MONITOR
My concern is when I cut into the dash I might not have anything at the back to stably mount the double din unit. Is there anything at the back of the leather dash which I can screw down the unit or make any brackets to do this?
I really hope those guys whose done the dash installation could help me on this. Thanks in advance!
