Is there an Outlet & Radio fuse on the Accord as well?
Can't tell you for sure, but it's entirely likely. You'll have to check each and every fuse for a blown one. It may be labelled something entirely different as you could be dealing with multiple fuses.

Thanks, I'll check on every fuse for a blown one.

Does my situation sound like this one?

Very similar, however, yours wasn't working before you took it apart, so you need to find out why the circuit blew. Do you have mods that draw current and maybe tapped into the circuit? Or did you plug something big into the socket once?

Prior to getting into the car the last time when this incident occurred, everything was working (car radio & 12v socket, etc.).

When this occurred, the following happened in the ordered listed:

1. Turn on ignition
2. Phone needed to be charged so plugged in phone charger into 12v socket
2. Light on charger did not go on so pulled it out
3. Noticed that plastic piece was inside 12v socket
4. Use house key to pull plastic piece out, attempted multiple times before being successful
5. Drove car and turn on radio...did not work. Display blank (except for red blinking Anti-Theft)
6. Tried entering five-digit code when got home...did not work
7. Tried disconnecting battery...did not work
8. Tried disconnecting cable from back of head-unit (uninstalling the unit)...did not work.

Have not checked on all fuses as suggested above, but will when I get home from work.

Hope this clarify things. Again, thank you for your responses!

Sounds like that "plastic piece" was foreign and prevented the charger from working. When you went to correct this, you shorted it out and blew the fuse. I'm quite confident that once you find the blown fuse and replace it, everything should come up smelling roses.

Check fuse #9 below:

BTW, is the picture for the under-dash or engine compartment fuse box? Sorry, I'm a noobie when it comes to this sort of stuff.

Also, where is the picture from. Reason for asking is because it's different from what I download from hondaaccordforum.com.

Thanks!

All, thank you for all your advice! Indeed, it was the fuse (radio/cigarette) under the hood. Replaced it and everything is back to normal.
