Just a warning about indoaudio. I recently purchased Focal Utopia 165W speakers from them. First, be expected to wait for the gear, they took 2-3 weeks to ship mine out (not that big of a deal if yur not in a hurry). Second, my speakers came in a box with no packing peanuts or anything so the retail box was sliding around in a big shipping box causing quite a bit of damage to the retail box (so much so that when I opened the packing box the retail box flaps were hanging open and the box was torn at the corners, which ruins any chance of being able to return the product for a refund). Third, the manual for the speakers was missing from the box, there were no serial numbers on the speakers (probably grey market), and although this may sound stupid, the little focal sticker labels that get put on the speaker grills were already peeled and stuck to the styrofoam packing (making them useless, although I wasn't going to use them anyway). I've emailed the company three times already to get a manual sent to me, and each time they ask for my mailing address and say they'll send one out...I'm still waiting. Some people may not think this is such a big deal but I've never installed or used component speakers before and would feel more confident having the manual to explain things like how to adjust the crossovers.

Take this for what it is worth. I am still waiting on parts to be delivered to install the speakers so I won't know if they work or not until then. You might be fine ordering an amp from them, however if you can find it for a similar price at some of the reputable online stores that people on this forum use you might be better off. I can personally recommend www.millionbuy.com and www.cardomain.com

In terms of the soundstream amps, I have heard many good thinds about their products but I know PAS2KNUT had issues with two Soundstream Van Gogh amps. You might want to throw him a PM to find out about his experience.

Hope this helps a little.

I have this amp, and wish I could comment on it's capabilities, however, I have yet to power it up. I bought it to power the eD 8A sub, that never arrived (manufacturing problems). Currently I'm have a new sub that is having a custom sub enclosure being built for it. I have had problems with the Van Gough line, however, I just installed one for another board member and it's been working fine. I must have had the bad ones. I bought the Rub 500.1 because I heard alot of good things about the amp. I will also say that Soundstream has stood behind their product.

Thanks again Jim. And yes the Van Gogh has been performing very well, even when pushed hard.

Yeah but really, avoid Indo at all costs. At least 3 separate people on this board have had to wait for ~1 month for stuff to ship, and I can tell you that wouldn't have been as much of a problem for me if they hadn't kept giving me false assurances every day that stuff would ship in the next day or two. The one thing they do is answer all your emails pretty quick, just that the reply never answers the questions you asked. That you are so far away just makes it easier for them to blow you off IMO.

If they have the product in stock, then I'm sure it will go fine. If not, buy lots of Tylenol. Just email them beforehand and ask them if the item is in stock and ready to ship- then let the games begin. Check their feedback- it's all or nothing when it comes to Indo...

If you have to go with them, I'd make sure each transaction is under $500 so you can claim it from buyer protection if you don't get your stuff in 1 month.

Ive bought from them before many times, only on 1 occation they sent 1 splits instead of 2, then i had to wait for that to come back in stock even though they said it was sent the "next day". I must admit a lot of emails are "can i have your address again?" and "what was the order number again?" or "check back when we are in the office"

But IMO they are the second best so far, and basically the only 1's who ship heavy items to australia. Ezorderusa is far better for decks, but everything else costs too much to post.

Understood. As I said I'm sure that they ship stuff very quickly when they actually have it in stock. That's probably why they have so many satisfied customers. I don't think they are much better or worse than any other cheap place online, it's just that they can be deceptive. In my mind an eBay auction is for something that exists, and you shouldn't be auctioning stuff that you then have to order and wait for weeks/months for your gray market connections to finish filing the serial numbers off of.
