Default Positive Battery Cable length

Hi!

I am planning to build a custom battery cable and I would need to know the length of the OEM positive battery cable (of both segments)

Can someone please help me?

The negative terminal is less than a foot long; you can see it's grounded to the frame right near the battery.

The postitive terminal to the alternator is what I assume you're after for the other? I'm not sure the length there.

If you're doing it from scratch, tinned copper is marine environment grade and may be worth a look for improved corrosion resistance (ie long term longevity). Since I was investing the time to do it anyways, I opted to spend the small premium on wire for peace of mind, YMMV.
