Default Polk MM6 Very nice Components

Just wanted to leave my comments on the MM6 from Polk/momo. For the $ its one of the best systems I've heard. The woofers are very large and actually 6.75" You really can't go wrong with this system.

Isn't fitment a problem though? Being only a novice when it comes to car audio, I don't know if I would have the knowledge/tools for the modifications!

actually it is because it doesn't fit the S2000 speaker adapter we sell, but a new piece in the near future will. This kind of speaker has 4 exact holes that must line up.

I was tinkering with the set the other day w/250w. Very smooth, balanced and highs that are crisp but not bright (silk dome tweeters tend to be best)

How long do you think it will be before an adapter piece is designed? I have been wanting some for a while now...Did you make a custom adapter for your car already?

Great! Will you be able to sell the speakers on your website as well? Though the speakers usually pop up on ebay, I have a really hard time trusting things off of ebay these days.

Yes I can once they're back from the factory. Oddly these are labeled as 6.5" not 6.75" Yet another speaker labeled and spec'ed as something its not. I've counted 6 different "6.5-inch" sizes.

I have the polk momo mm6 in my s2 right now. The install was... um... interesting, but I would be very interested in the adapters to clean up my install job. Let me know when you have them available!!

You say these sets work good with the factory deck? Do the tweets fit the door tweet pods?
