Pioneer GM-5100T 2 Channel Amplifier
i'm thinking of getting this for either polk db6500's or possibly boston pro series components. i can get this for 100 online? good idea?
or Rockford Fosgate P3002 2 Channel. aboud $150 running 150 rms
i think the pioneer is 125 rms
or Infinity Reference 7521a for $150
or KENWOOD KAC-7202 for $120
also, for example the kenwood has 150wrms and the speakers can handle 100wrms. would this be a problem?

You can overpower your speakers, but I do not know by how much. Usually, I have read, its up to 50%. I would stick with the Infinity, as its closer to the rated output for the speakers. I have also had the 7520a (last years model), and it was a good amp.

I have a Hifonics Titan 8800. It is a 4-ch amp that puts out 110wrms per channel @ 4-ohms. Channels 3/4 can be bridged for a 440wrms sub channel into 4-ohms. Gives you the option for a sub later on down the road for no extra cost. Helluva deal @ $180 from sonicelectronix.com. Check out my thread and review.
