Thumbs up Only replacing speaker and add an amp ?

I was told that if I replace the speaker and add an amp my stereo will still sound shitty because the stock HU signal is so poor that the sound will be poor.
I want to hear from people who just replacing the speakers and add an amp and HAPPY with the sound. Or think the sound is just not worth it unless you replace everything(HU, speaker, add an amp).

Replacing the headunit and leaving the stock speakers will sound better than a stock headunit with better speakers and amp. It will just be louder...not clearer.

You will pretty much get the same response from most people here.

That is not replaced under warranty (noticed you have an 06)? I think the electrical is covered up to the end of the bumper-bumper warranty.

Awesome...

What kind of music do you like and how do you listen to music? If you get into a stock car do you turn the treble and bass all the way up or leave it in the middle, turn it down...

That will get us going. Also what kind of budget are we working with? You can PM me that info if that's better for you.
