Hello, I am thinking about replacing my OEM speakers in my MY02. I bought the car with the factory rear speakers in the headrests, but I would like to replace them as well. Has anyone every disassembled the rear headrest speakers to do this before? Was it even worth it? Thanks.

Yes, I took the rollbar covers off to see what size speaker OEM speaker was installed. It looks to be a non-standard install and is so small it wasn't worth the effort for me. The Boston Pro 60's I installed worked so well I didn't need the rollbar speakers even though they are hook up to the head-unit.
IMO, there are as crappy as the stock door speakers, if not worse. The better route to go would be to go with a high quality component speaker in the door and forget the rollbar.

I thought the pod attached to the back to the seat (where the mesh hole is), a la Alpine's navigation speaker (but larger).
about the S-pods. Best investment for overall sound levels at speed.
