Default new key and key fob?

Hey guys,

Im not sure if this can be done but i wanna get a key from a new civic that has the FOB and key all integrated into one. its alot nicer to only have to cary one thing.

1. does anyone know if our keys can even be copied?
2. can you program the civic FOB like you program a normal s2000 FOB?
3. how do you get the imobilizer to recognize the new civic key?

Have you checked the existing key threads? I don't know if the Civic key was specifically discussed off the top of my head.

the answer is NO, you cannot use any of the integrated keys/fobs with the S2K. the problem is that the S2K keyless entry system uses a different frequency than the newer integrated fobs do. the only work-around would be to replace the S2K's keyless ECU with that of a Civic/Accord/etc., but I don't even know if that's possible/worth the effort.
