Need opinions on 4" speakers for the rear
I know everyone has their favs in brands and all, but I'd like to get some opinions on 4" speakers for the rear. I'm going to be making up a few panels next week, I'm thinking of trying a few different kinds. What I'd prefer - Peak watts over 100, RMS handling 40-50 - full range. I don't think components will fit due to their wide magnets.

How much do you actually gain in terms of sound from having a 4" driver RIGHT behind the seat?

This is how much you'll gain:
Take your arm and place it over your mouth. Now speak. That is how much you gain on a 4" behind the seat.
Now if one is short and can move the seat up and away from the speaker, then one might have a slight increase in sound quality. Otherwise, the speaker is projecting into the seat and will muffle the sound.
