need to improve car stereo
What speakers and do you guys recomend. I'm looking for an hu that can plug in ipod and be able to use the dash controls and want to get some bass and clear sound without the use of a sub. I have the 07 ap2 with roll bar speakers so not sure what fit in there. Not sure if this is possible but I'm trying to keep my trunk so I want to avoid adding an amp. The hu have to be good enough power 6 speakers

That link is only really relevant for those who want the iPod as their main source for music (IDA series is ONLY USB input, no CDs unless you add a changer). It's not easy getting great sound from the S2000... but I've got the Alpine IDA-X305 and Polk Audio db6501 components... am I happy with them? Yes... but still leaves ALOT to be desired. Kenwood, JVC, Sony, Pioneer, etc. all have HU's with iPod capability, its almost standard now.
As far as dash controls, look into Modifry's DCI. Also, not all amps have to go into the trunk... Alpine has come out with a head unit power pack (KTP-445) that sends a true 45W to each speaker, and their PDX line of amps are really small (can fit behind the seat, etc.).
