Default Need advice again... (amps this time)

The amp that I originally ordered is still on backorder for the next 2 months. So I'm looking around for something different and maybe better.

Here's my setup:

Pioneer 9400MP Head Unit

Infinity Perfect 6.1 Component Speakers (100 Watts RMS/400 Watts Peak Power)

Infinity Perfect 12.1 Subwoofer (350 Watts RMS/1400 Watts Peak Power)

Here are the two amps I'm looking at...

Alpine MRV-F340 Multi-Channel for the Fronts (130 Watts RMS x 2 in bridged mode at 4 ohms)

Alpine MRD-M500 Mono for the Sub (250 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms)

My questions are these:

1. Will this setup work well?

2. Is the MRV-F340 overkill for the Perfect 6.1? I don't want to blow my speakers... Should I get something with less power?

Thanks.

Why dont you buy one 4-channel amp and bridge the rear for the sub. Less equipment.

JL 300/4 has my vote as well. I'm running a set of Boston seperates of the front channels and have the rear bridged to a Jl Stealthbox...nice combo.

Each amp setup listed so far is way underpowering your sub. I recommend the Rockford 800.4
