More advice wanted on system...
Posted a couple questions in the past, thanks for all the help so far. Heres what I've decided.
Sub = JL 10" not sure which model yet, I can get a W3v2, W0, or W6 all for about the same price.
My current delima is what amp to get. I would really like to run doors and sub off of one amp. I was considering the JL 300/4 which puts 75 to doors and 150 to the sub. I'm curious if 150 to the sub will be enough. I don't want to be heard a mile down the road, and listen mostly to rock, but I still wanna feel that bass in my back/chest.
I listened to Bacchus's JL 10W3v2 with 300 watts to it and it was plenty loud, but we had the top up and were not moving. Not sure how it would be doing 60 mph...
I guess I'd like to hear from anyone who may have 150 or so watts running a 10" sub and see what they think. Otherwise, I may have to do 2 amps, which will suck money wise
Thanks!

I started with almost the exact setup (only exception is that I have a JL 4300).
When I fired it up and took it on the road I was SORELY disappointed (although I like rather elevated listening levels!). This setup lasted only as long as it took to get an additional JL 500/1 to dedicate to the sub.
Now I'm a much happier camper.
