I thought you only had a set number of years to defend your trademark. Like when Honda came after Cthree for s2000 online. If they didn't they would lose their right to claim it as their own.

i've never believed Monster, Inc to be worth their outrages prices. i dropped well over 50K on a dedicated theater two years ago and not one speaker wire or interconnect is made by them. overpriced crap imo! i'll stick with my custom wound stuff.

is a tad ridiculous of a lawsuit though but then again, what would you expect nowdays?

I have 3 to 7 customers a month in Home and Car audio that I almost exclusivly use Monster Cables. This is the first I have heard about this and reading more into it I have decided to no longer use their products. Their claim is ridiclous and absourd. I am outraged by this legal litigation. They are basically calling American's dub cause we can't figure out that those companies and Monster Cable Products Inc. are not related.

I also sent them a letter stating as such.

^ good for you

I never got a response to my letter to them. I'm guessing that they get a few more than a handful of complaints every day.

Some interesting litigation is going on Tiger Direct vs Apple. Tiger direct is suing Apple over Apples use of the word Tiger for its latest Os release. Step in Robert F. Young founder of Linux distributor Red Hat. Turns out he also owns the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Canadian football team that dates back to 1869 and he wants to GIVE Apple the rights to Tiger.

I wonder how this will effect Monster lawsuits?!
