you only need one channel per amp, so you could split the RCA's in half since most tear down the middle easily, and run one to each amp. another option you have is to the check to see if the amp has a rca pass through. if it does, you could run a short set of rca's from one amp to the other

Will he doesn't mean cutting the wire, just splitting it up left and right channels.
The best option is seeing if the amp has a pass though (RCA output) then just run a short set of RCA's to the second amp.
