Modifry dash bracket with XM?
Before I order this I want to see if anyone else has done this.
This bracket:
With this:
http://www.xmradio.com/shop/index.xmc#sele...on;view=details
Also, anyone hardwired one of these? I just want to make sure it fits on the bracket.

That mount will not work with that XM without modification. The XM only comes with the vent clip, so if you can get a hold of the stick on XM mount then you can bolt that mount to the bracket you have pictured but again you may have to drill 2 holes if the one on the xm mount doesn't line up with the mount.
In terms of hardwiring it the xm its really easy. I would recommend using the FM Direct otherwise you will have a lot of interference with the FM modulator. Just pull out the radio and you can get you acc, ground, and put in the FM Direct. Just make sure when you hardwire the XM you do not cut off the cig lighter plug b/c there is a circuit in there that drops the 12v power to 5v.
Good Luck hope this helps
