Most people went through the firewall on the passenger side. There's a blank plug there that you can poke through and seal the plug/wire with silicone afterwards. I went through on the driver's side along side of some electrical cables that were already going through the firewall and came out near the clutch pedal. From there, I took out the driver's kick panel and the plastic panel on the door opening that has the s2000 logo on it. I ran the 4 gauge power cable under the carpet. When you get to the panel behind the seat, remove it, and you will see an opening to get the wire from there to the trunk (hint, open your trunk and shine a light towards the seat). Once in the trunk, route it however you want since there's a lot of room to play with. Don't forget to put a fuse on the power wire near the battery! Another note, I ran the power wire on the driver's side (with the amp turn on wire from the radio too), RCA's went through the center tunnel, and speaker wires went on the passenger side. Also, do a search on "power wire firewall" and you will find some threads already on this. Look at this one for a picture: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=28419

After disconnecting the battery and moving it look for the grommet right here:
You can pull it out, hold with pliers and slice a slit to push the power wire through. Just rememeber after you're done to use a sealer spray or silicone like rstark said.
The best route would be to run the power line back with along the passenger side to the truck. A clamp on battery fuse are probably the nicest to use to protect the line. If you can't find them, i have them. Use a wire loom to protect the wire in the engine bay.
