Unhappy Looking for some alarm feedback

I'm getting a pretty good price on this alarm and I was wondering if anyone had it installed and what there opinion of it was. I was told it was one of the best, but I have not clue about this kind of stuff and that was the sales guy talking and he seemed kinda sleezy and I prob would not trust him as far as I can throw him. In any case if this is not a good alarm can someone give me a few suggesions. Thanks is advance

Cliffords are supposed to be good alarms. how much is the alarm costing you with installation? I'm guessing around $450?

I just bought a 50.5x. Can't wait to install it as it comes with a pager. I've always heard they're really good, especially with the Clone Safe Code Hopping technology. So we need a immobilizer bypass thing to install it?

i was quoted $466 for the matrix 10.5 installed..but i ended up with the 12.5 for $533w/tax installed. I'm not sure how much tinting normally runs. so the way I'm looking at is that your paying $466 for the alarm and about another 100 for the tinting?

I'm not to sure about the tinting myself, but a friend of mine says it cost him about $150 for his tint and he has a Z4 so I cant imagine it cost that much of a differnce.

Whats the big difference that the 50.5x has other than the transmitter?

i'm not sure what the security differences are but i think the 50.5x comes with remote start? the 12.5 and 10.5 do not...make sure you get the proximity sensor for the inside...i think its like 50 bucks.

I got a 10.5 and installed for $330 with a hood pin but no proximity. I've had it for a year and it works great, but alarms are only as good as the install, make sure they've done an S2000 before because from what i've read its harder then anyother honda.
