Looking for Aux in!
Hey guys,
When I purchased my car used a couple years ago it came with a Kenwood Z919 unit, some amps, 6 speakers and 3 subs. If it is important to my question, I can try to find out what they are.
I went into a local audio shop to try to replace my head unit, and they told me that my head unit was very nice and that it would cost me a fortune to find one with similar audio quality... or something to that effect. They said they could use some sort of adapter or something to give me an aux in, but they ended up installing an FM receiver thing. Pissed me the F*** off, because I told them multiple times that that was not what I wanted. It sounded like shit so I had them remove it.
Anyway. What makes my deck so special and what could I reasonably($) replace it with, so I can have an Aux in?

Not sure what you're asking. You could replace it with any head unit with Aux in. If you want "reasonable" suggestions then post what you think reasonable means. Never assume that your preferences are universal. What you think of as reasonable isn't necessarily what the next does. Post your budget.
