I'm glad someone else can enjoy this simple solution to adding rear speakers as much as I have. Probably was dumb luck that I stumbled upon this easy procedure.

Hi,

I tried using the wires from the floppy power connectior, but they didn't fit. I have a 2002. Does that make any difference? The floppy terminal and what little I can see of the oem terminal in the harness look different to me. The terminal in the OEM harness has what looks like a smooth, rounded section where it makes contact. Where as the floppy terminal is small and flat. Any input anyone?

if you can track down a helpful parts person at a dealership, there may be a
"factory" solution:
