Led wiring

Default Led wiring

alright so i want to install some leds in and under my dash and in the footwell,
i cant find any wires that i can slit and run the leds from them ,

where are wires that i can tap in to ?
if theres anything behind the radio tell me lol and the color , pics would be great , ill post a pic up when i get them in

btw ive searched and got very lil help

you can tap at the cluster, fuse box, or behind the radio, or cig plug. Invest in a multimeter :-)

you can use the accessory terminals in the under-dash fuse box.
from the technical FAQ:


Option Connector E - live when the parking lights are on, through fuse 23, 10 amps

Option Connector D - live always, through fuse 42, 40 amps

Option Connector C - live when ignition on (and not cranking) through fuse 42, 40 amps.

All 3 of these connectors are recessed male 1/4" quick-connects, and yes, you should use an in-line fuse, especially when connecting to D or C.
