Just picked these up at Circut City for about $70 and they sound great! I also picked up the Honda speaker adaptor kit and it hooked up very easily, dropped right in, and sounds so much better that I cannot believe that I waited 3 months to do this.

Didn't have to do anything but drop them in and hook them up and Circuit City had the adaptor also. A friend of mine bought the Kenwood KFC model that Crutchfield recommends and although they are similar, he told me that he had to splice the wires with the adaptor that Crutchfield supplied. The one from Circuit City just clipped on so it was a very easy 10 minute job.
Now that the overall sound is better, I do want to get an amp and sub since you lose the low bass boom with these new speakers. I listen to a lot of techno and dance music and make my own as well so I want good bass but I can live without it for now since the overall quality is so much better.
I can hear the highs and the mids much more clearly and my leg does not cut out nearly as much of the highs as it did with the crappy stock speakers.
Adding a 4 channel amp so I can run more power to the Kenwood's and whichever sub I decide to get will round out the sound system for the car. I don't want to go overboard and spend too much so $70 for these speakers was a great start. They have a 92 DB rating also which is better than the 90 and 91 db rating of some of the other speakers that I have read about as replacements.
Also keep in mind that I had a $50 gift card for Circuit City so I planned on getting my speakers from them to save a few more bucks but I listened to some of the others there that were well over $100 a pair and they just did not seem to be worth the extra money.
Probably more than you wanted to know.
