Hi.

I just finished installing a JVC KD-AVX44 head unit and I used a SWI Jack for the controls.

I followed the instructions and used a relay for the mute button. Everything works perfectly besides the mute button.

The KD-AVX44 has a Mute/Tel wire, and I connected the relay (spdt) to there and to ground.

I noticed that I can see the mute function through the other buttons, but not with the mute button.

If anybody has a solution for this please help. I know that the mute button sents 12v to the radio because I tested it with a voltmeter. I don't think it is connected to the other controls though.

Please help!
There. Fixed that for you.
