After testing the amp this weekend I think that the buzzing sound actually does change with RPM. Is this still a ground loop problem? Where should the amp be grounded?
Thanks to all who pointed out that the installer was bogus. I plan on getting the buzzing sound fixed and then get a sub elsewhere.
I'm still using the original receiver (with Hi-Los to interface with the amp) so I don't have an amp relay wire. I'll connect the amp auto turn on wire to the acc terminal if that's a better thing to do.
Thanks.
