Default JDM Navi question

Hey guys, my cousin bought this for his car. its not the same modle, his was less flashy.

what im wondering is, can i buy a jdm navi mounting bracket and use this unit? or will the depth of the kenwood unit not fit behind the dash? He paid 900$ for his, he bought it at cost from the stero shop he works at. if all the depths will work out, we would have no trouble wiring this up to the s2000, and i would save plenty of cash and still have the same in dash factory tv look.

heres more information also...
INFO

his is not the exact same unit, this one is the top of the line one, the cheaper one is much more cleaner than this and would match the interior of the 2000 nice.

I highly doubt the JDM mount would match any/many after-market screens. It is designed to mold around the OEM screen

Yeah - look into a custom mount?

A custom bezel is probably your only route. Thing is, with a full headunit mounted in the dash there will be a serious issue on getting it to fit with the plumbing of the air vents and stuff.

The easy way would be a custem bezel and screen, but it can be done. Some people have mounted entire headunits in the dash.
