It is tricky, I would agree with the poster above. Just get an aftermarket one... but search this thread. I am sure there is someone who has done this before.

I have seen units from Pioneer that fold out and have navigation. I am not sure if they fit in the place of our radios, but it seems like a cool option. Oh yes, they are touch screen too.

I have a partially complete USDM nav write up. You can use the jdm screen in place of the one I used. All the other stuff is the same. I should have mine up by end of Jan. Everything was just bench tested and is working. Just waiting for itme to cut my dash and mold another bezel.
