Default Infinity Perfects 6 1/2 and my set up

I have recieved conflicting opinions as to whether these speakers fit in the S2K or not. Can someone please give me a definitive answer because i really love these speakers and want to get them

On a side note I would like some reccomendations for amps
I have an alpine cda 9831 HU
the infinity perfects 6 1/2 component system
and i will be purchasing a JL WS6 sub either the 400 watt or the 300 watt one i'm not sure yet

I've heard that having seperate amps for the speakers and the sub is better. What should I do (what type of amp, how many)? Try to be specific in your advice because i'm a newbie when it comes to systems. Thanks alot!

The Perfects will fit, but you'll need to use spacers.

my steup which i will get in the mail soon, will be
Infinity kappa 60.5cs
sony cdx f7005x head unti
sound stream Xstream XTA480.4
Rockford fosgate p210s4

The Soundstream amp is a 4 ch so 2 channels will be used to power the infinty's and 2 will be bridged for the sub. The thing is the rockford sub is only a 200 wat rms max so its not as powerfull a sub as what your planning. I can let you know friday how everyting goes and sounds once its all installed.

Do you mean if the speakers are spaced out will they make the door panel buldge out? Or just apperance, cause neither will be afected. I guess the only option when installing is putting the speaker grills over the speakers when you do the install. Thats up to you, the only way you can really see the speakers throught the door panel is at speaker level so you usually dont see them anyway.

my perfects fit perfectly. they sound pretty good. I'm a little dissapointed though, I expected a lot more. I'm running 125x2 rms to them and it just doesn't seem powerful enough. The highs don't seem loud enough. It could be that my Alpine 9815 isn't tuned well. Anyone have any settings to share or I-Personalize file they can send me?
