I bought the Infinity Kappa 63.1i & US Accoustics Amp (50x2) this weekend. With all the necessary wiring kit and shipping, my total came out around $275. Which I think is a steal.

The Infinity Kappa were on special for $140! The guys at Crutchfield recommended the US Accounstic Amp over the Sony Xplod and Kenwood. He said the $100 bucks its the best amp in terms of quality and output.

Does anyone own Infinity Kappa 63.1i or US Accoustics Amp?
How do you like them? Any difficulties installing either of them?

Or there instructions on installing the amp? More specifically removing all the OEM plastics, etc...?

Mark_##### - I installed Infinity 62.1i speakers, and you will need to cut out the baskets. It's not hard, just use a sharp utility knife. Be sure you have an adapter for the Honda speaker connectors.

I mounted my MTX 35Wx2 channel amp in front of the fuel filler tube in the empty space in front of the left trunk liner. My amp fits snugly, so I don't know if yours will fit there too. Crutchfield rep said that they were going to send me the speaker kit that plugs into the OEM deck.

My concern is where and how will I put the amp? I thought of putting it under the seat. I read somewhere that I should seperate the power wire and the RCA??

Any clarification would be great.

Mark - I mounted my amp (MTX 2120) in the space to the left of the spare tire, in front of the left trunk liner, in front of the fuel filler tube. I fixed the link in my previous post that refers to several options of amp location. I ran the power cable on the right side of the car next to the sill in the passenger compartment, and the RCA cables next to the driver's side transmission tunnel. Since my amp is behind the bulkhead behind the driver, I connected the amp turn-on circuit to the accessory outlet in the center console.
