Hey,

I stepped up to the Clarus a while back and they are absolutely awesome. I'm going to be upgrading the tweeters to the L1ProR2s and if I can get them to fit will be upgrading the Clarus mid basses to the L6 Special Editions. I may also upgrade to the SE midranges for a 3 way system as well.

I absolutely love the sound of the Hybrid Audio speakers.

Where did you install the tweeter for the Clarus?

I installed it in the factory location but am going to test in the A-pillars firing across the windshield. I am able to tune with an oscilloscope and RTA, so it should happen fairly soon.

icic so same as me.... whats your crossover settings? I'm at the -3db setting using the Clarus passive crossover

Same, I am going to try reversing the wires before altering the location. I may also be going active... I am not sure as of yet.

Please do report back about wiring them in out-of-phase.

I see some of you recommend installing as coaxial, but what about the problems with blocking the tweeters with your legs?
I have this problem with the original setup.
