Default Hows this setup?

Ok to let everyone know first off, I know next to nothing about car audio. This is my first time doing anything audio wise to a car. I am going with an Alpine CDA-7893 head unit. I am going to have a custom box built in the trunk with a JL 12w3. For amps i am going with JL 250/1 to power the sub, and a 300/2 to power my components. The component speakers are JL, and im not sure the model number, but if it helps at all there in the high $300 range. All that plus labor, install, wires etc. is coming out to $2250. Is this a good deal or is there something i might think of switching around. The only other thing i could think of that i might change, is well i have a set of eclipse coaxials in the car now. I was trying to think of a way to keep them in the car along with the other speakers so that I will have more sound. I asked my friend about that, and he said if i do that, keep the eclipse also, then i should probably go with a JL 500/5 amp instead of the two. I guess the price for the one amp is almost the same, if not cheaper then the two. Comments and suggestions are welcome and I am looking forward to them. Thanks.

If going JL why not use their steathbox? Most likely be less than a custom box and you'd have your car back quicker.

I guess the turn around time to get a stealth box, and the time to make a box is about the same. As far as cost, well I was told by my friend, who i trust completely, that he can have it custom made for the same price if not cheaper, and make it sound better. Like i said, i completely trust him, so im going on his word. Lucid so what do you think of the setup? Which one, in your opinion sounds better?
