how to mount sub enclosure in the trunk?
What is the method to mount a sub enclosure in the trunk. I don't have a CD changer in my s2k but I am going to mount my enclosure in the spot where one normally is.
What is the proper way to mount it? Do I use L brackets? How far can I drill into the floorboard?

I was using velcro to hold my sub in the trunk well area. It kept it in place pretty good, plus it was easily removable. However, I'm going with a custom sub box so it's no longer an issue.

I am all into cutting/drilling when necessary... but you might want to look into nylon straps. This way you are drilling less holes and your enclosure is easily removed. There is an open steal frame/support behind the trunk liner on the right and left sides of the trunk... you should be able to strap to one of those...
I strapped my fiberglass box in and it can't move a bit:

No mounting at all. I keep saying this is a great box but nobody seems to listen! I can remove anytime I want and it fits perfectly snug in the truck bay - even after all the sharp turns and twisties!
